Summary Earlier in this meeting the City Commission conducted the second of two required public hearings relating to the FFY 2016 CDBG application. If the City Commission directed the Administration to proceed with an application in the Neighborhood Revitalization Category to the Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO), then this action is necessary. If successful in its application, the City is eligible to receive up to $700,000 in administration and construction funding. The City has approved $50,000 in the FY 2017 Approved Budget for street repaving. Leveraging these funds with our grant application will assist the scoring and increase its competitiveness to receive CDBG grant funds. | | |
