Summary General Counsel for the Alachua County Sheriff's Office submitted the proposed Voluntary Cooperation Mutual Aid Agreement for Traffic Control between the Alachua County Sheriff and the City of Alachua for consideration. The term for this proposed agreement will extend to January 11, 2021, and provides for Alachua Police Department officers to enforce Florida traffic laws and conduct crash investigations on specified roadways located outside the City's corporate boundaries, but still within Alachua County.
The agreement was submitted to Compliance & Risk Management for review; subsequent approval was issued on January 31, 2017. |
