Summary The City and the Alachua Lions Club entered into an agreement dated February 27, 2012 and that agreement was first amended November 5, 2013. The original agreement established the relationship of the City and Lions Club dealing with the many details concerning the downtown drainage and road reconstruction project at Skinner Field, NW 142 Terrace and NW 150 Avenue.
The here presented second amendment is to establish the closing out of one contract item related to the removal and replacement of a small amount of perimeter fencing. The City removed the fencing and the second amendment provides for the City to pay the sum of $4,425 (cost to replace fencing) to the Alachua Lions Club in lieu of replacing the perimeter fencing.
