Summary In preparation for the FFY 2014 and 2015 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) cycles, the City issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) 2015-01 and 2015-03, to procure a firm to assist the City with the development and submittal of CDBG grant applications for potential funding of prospective City projects.
The RFPs were issued on April 10, 2015 with advertisements placed in the Gainesville Sun and on the City website. Replies to the RFPs were due by April 27, 2015 and the City received three (3) responses: Government Services Group, Inc., Guardian Community Resource Management, Inc., and Summit Professional Services, Inc.
The Selection Committee (SC) met on April 29th to rank the proposals received from the three firms. Our SC was comprised of the Assistant City Manager, Finance Director and Public Services Director. The proposals were required to be scored separately for both FFY 2014 and 2015 as well as for each CDBG category of Regular and Economic Development. Summit Professional Services, Inc. received the highest raw score and summary score for both FFYs and categories based on the SC’s ranking. | | |
