Summary
Section 4.03 (i) of the City Charter provides that " All purchases and sales shall conform to such regulations as the City Commission may from time to time prescribe."
The Purchasing and Sales Policy and Regulations were adopted by the City Commission on March 10, 2014, and, as contemplated and prescribed in the Charter, require updating from time to time to correct scrivener errors and add clarifying language to better communicate City regulations and policy.
City staff here recommends the presented amendments to correct identified scrivener errors and add certain clarifying language. All changes are identified on the Index Page and in the red underline and strikethrough version.
