Summary The City Commission authorized staff to move forward with master planning the Project Legacy site to best serve existing and potential future needs of the community. The City retained the services of Causseaux, Hewett and Walpole (CHW) to perform the related work. CHW put together a team of engineers, architects, landscape architects and related professionals to perform the master planning. The plan takes into consideration direction from many advisory boards, the City Commission and public input. Public input was received at a workshop by the City Commission on Jan. 26, 2015 as well as at meetings of the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board, Senior Resources Advisory Board and Youth Advisory Council.
During the Aug. 24, 2015 City Commission meeting, Staff and the design team provided an update of the status of the master planning and receive input from the Commission. The City Commission adopted the Legacy Park Master Plan on Oct. 26, 2015. | | |
