Summary The North Central Florida Model Railroad Club promotes the hobby of Model Railroading. The organization develops, builds, operating and maintains scale model railroad modules, layouts, and displays with an emphasis on the preservation of Florida's railroad history. Through education the goal is to have fun and teach, building HO scale display modules in accordance with National Model Railroad Association standards. The latest project will be a model of the 1960s City of Alachua including downtown as well as both the Alachua and Hague train stations. The completed model will be displayed in downtown Alachua at the Chamber of Commerce building.
