Summary Continuing education is to be lauded and encouraged, as it brings professionalism and value to the City, as well as indicates to the public that we are always improving to better serve them.
The Certified Municipal Clerk designation is one that is not achieved easily; it involves a great deal of time and effort to meet the requirements.
It is the City's desire to congratulate Melanie Anne Westmoreland on this significant achievement. She has completed the requirements, if not in record time, then certainly much sooner than most.
As we are dedicated to constantly improving our professionalism and capacity to serve, the City looks forward to the day when we can congratulate Ms. Westmoreland on gaining her Master Municipal Clerk designation, which will be a first for the City. Her dedication, professionalism and drive are a credit to the community.
