Summary
Pharmacists are important members of a health care team as they are well versed in medications, the effects they produce in a body, and how they interact or interfere with each other. In addition to safely providing medicine, pharmacists offer many other services as part of their commitment to helping patients live healthier lives.
In light of the valuable role pharmacists play in not only our community but our very lives, we encourage the citizens of the City of Alachua to participate in American Pharmacist Month.
