Summary Upon submitting a request for assistance for the City's Annual July 4th Celebration, it was discovered that the Mutual Aid Agreement between the City of Gainesville Police Department and the City of Alachua Police Department had expired on November 30, 2016. As a result, the proposed Mutual Aid Agreement for Operational Assistance was submitted by the City of Gainesville for consideration. The term of this proposed agreement will extend to June 18, 2019. The agreement was submitted to Compliance & Risk Management for review; and subsequent approval was issued on July 11, 2017. | | |
