Summary The proposed site plan is a request by Harry Newkirk, P.E., of Newkirk Engineering, Inc., agent for Vystar Credit Union, applicant and property owner, for the construction of a ±4,000 square foot financial institution with employee and visitor parking, storm water management facility improvements, paving, grading, and associated utility infrastructure.
The subject property is ±2.04 acres in area and is located south of Alachua MarketPlace (Publix) Shopping Plaza, east of Santa Fe High School, north of US HWY 441, and west of RaceWay Gas Station. Access to the subject property would be provided primarily by two (2) ingress/egress drives connecting to an ingress/ egress easement over the Publix Supermarkets Inc property (Parcel No. 03053-001-004). An additional interconnection with the adjacent Publix Supermarkets Inc property is provided through the north of the parcel.
Stormwater will be conveyed to two ponds (one new and one pond to be modified). The applicants has provided evidence that an Environmental Resource Permit (ERP) has been issued by the Suwannee River Water Management District (Permit Number ERP-001-221992-4). | | |
