SUBJECT:  RFB 2017-06 General and Right of Way Mowing & Landscaping Services for Community Redevelopment Agency Area and U.S. Hwy 441 Medians

RECOMMENDED ACTION:

1)  Accept the Bid from SAS Lawn Care, Inc. for General and Right of Way Mowing and Landscaping Services for Community Redevelopment Agency Area and Medians in the amount of $3,280.00 monthly ($39,360.00 Annually) .

2)  Authorize the City Manager to enter into a Contract with SAS Lawn Care, Inc. to complete services requested under the provisions of RFB 2017-06.

Summary

On August 18, 2017, the City issued a Request for Bids (RFB 2017-06) for General and Right of Way Mowing & Landscaping Services for Community Redevelopment Agency Area and Medians.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting was held August 24, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. and was attended by five (5) potential bidders. 

The City received one (1) Bid in response to RFB 2017-06 from SAS Lawn Care, Inc.

SAS Lawn Care's bid was reviewed and accepted as a responsive and responsible bidder.

Staff recommends to accept the bid submitted by SAS Lawn Care, Inc. to provide the General and Right of Way Mowing & Landscaping Services for Community Redevelopment Area and Medians.
