Summary Commissioner Ben Boukari, Jr. was elected to the City Commission in April 2010. He has since served in the capacity as City Commissioner and Vice Mayor. During the Jan. 22, 2018 City Commission meeting, Commissioner Boukari indicated his intention to resign his position, due to the discussions regarding the filling of the City Manager position. This item provides an opportunity to recognize Commissioner Boukari for his eight years of service to the City of Alachua. | | |
