Summary

On January 25, 2018, the State of Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) executed the Federally Funded Subgrant Agreement for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program - Neighborhood Revitalization (NR) awarded to the City of Alachua. The CDBG-NR agreement provides the City $700,000 in grant funding and requires a $50,000 match.

In order to account for the revenues and expenditures of the grant, a resolution and budget amendment are necessary to appropriate funds within the CDBG-NR Capital Projects Fund.  The budget amendment provides for the recognition of expenditures related to the $700,000 in federal grant funds and the $50,000 to be transferred from the General Fund to meet the match requirements.
