Summary City deems it in the public interest to provide for the maintenance and operation of certain traffic signals along the State Highway System within the corporate limits of the City.
FDOT and City Agreement requires annual amendments to update for changes in the number of signals and payment of fees. This was done through Resolution by the Governing Body.
Resolution 18-19 is the Continuing Resolution designed to accomplish and meet the FDOT goal and recommendation that a Continuing Resolution be adopted by the City Commission to eliminate the need to return to the Governing Body each year to authorize the signature of the ministerial amendment to update the list of signals and corresponding fees paid by the state to the City.
This resolution authorizes the City Manager to sign the annual amendment until the end of term. |
