Summary The City of Alachua maintains a Compensation Plan that establishes job titles, salary ranges and job descriptions. The maintenance of the Plan is performed by the Human Resources Division.
The proposed FY 2019 Budget includes a 2% cost of living increase for all employees. Per City Code Section 2-167, when cost of living increases are approved by the Commission, the pay plan will be adjusted by the percent approved. Therefore,the proposed FY 2019 Compensation Plan includes a 2% increase in the minimum and maximum compensation levels per position.
Revisions to the the proposed Compensation Plan do not change the total number of full time equivalents for the City.
