Summary The City of Alachua owns property located at 14815 Main Street. The property has historically been used by the City as a warehouse for utility related inventory. The City completed its new operations center and warehouse facility earlier this year, which left the warehouse property vacant.
The City contracted with the landscape architect firm of Buford Davis & Associates in 2014 to develop a conceptual site plan for the property in anticipation of its future availability. The conceptual plan is attached.
The City contracted with GSE Engineering & Consulting, earlier this year, to perform an analysis on the structural status of the building. The firm's findings are attached.
The purpose of this workshop is to provide a forum for the City Commission to discuss the property and receive input from the public. |
