Summary
The City Commission conducts a performance review of the City Manager annually. The City Commission was provided with the City Manager’s Annual Performance Evaluation packet on July 25, 2019. The packet included the annual performance evaluation introduction, the 2019 annual performance evaluation, the individual rating sheet and the City Manager’s self-evaluation.
The City Manager completed the self-evaluation, detailing his perception of how he has met the directives and expectations of the City Commission during the evaluation period. Each commissioner then completed the performance evaluation and individual rating sheet based on their personal assessment of the City Manager’s ability to meet the objectives and expectations reflected in the performance factors. The individual ratings scores were then averaged together to produce a Total Evaluation Score.
The 2019 Annual Performance Evaluations from each member of the Commission have been completed and attached. The results have been tabulated and appear on the Overall Rating Sheet. The individual results are as follows:
Mayor Gib Coerper – 9.650 – Outstanding
Vice Mayor Dayna Miller – 9.600 – Outstanding
Commissioner Shirley Green Brown – 10.000 – Outstanding
Commissioner Gary Hardacre – 9.375 – Outstanding
Commissioner Robert Wilford – 9.400 – Outstanding
These results produce an average Total Evaluation Score of 9.605 – Outstanding. |
