Summary On August 1, 2019, the City solicited formal bids from qualified vendors to furnish all the necessary labor, materials, tools, fuel, equipment & all other direct and indirect costs for the annual requirement for lawn and landscape maintenance at three locations in the City of Alachua.
The awarded bid will include a contract effective through October 1, 2020. The contract will automatically renew on October 1, 2020 for one of four (4) successive one year terms, effective October 1 to September 30 of the following calendar year, unless automatic renewal is cancelled by either party.
The City received four (4) bids in response to RFB 2019-12. Three of the four bids were determined to be responsive and responsible. Responsive and responsible bids were received from: Gainesville Lawnscaping in the amount of $6,125.00 monthly; Green Maintenance & Cleaning, Inc. in the amount of $2,400.00 monthly; and Landmark Landscaping in the amount of $5,875.00 monthly.
Staff recommends to award the contract to Green Maintenance & Cleaning, Inc. to complete the Lawn & Landscape Maintenance Services for Municipal Complex/Swick House, Skinner Park/Alachua Lions Club & TK Basin. | | |
