Summary The manufacturing industry has provided a great source of jobs and investment in not only the State of Florida as a whole, but in particular our region. Manufacturers in Alachua are dedicated to growing their industry in our region, and setting a standard to strive for in quality of life and economic development. The month of October is set aside to recognize the efforts of these manufacturers and the labor force that makes the industry possible.
The Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce requested to make a brief presentation regarding manufacturing in our region.
