Summary In an effort to promote and foster economic development, the proposed Business Incentives Plan is specifically designed to encourage businesses to locate, expand or redevelop in the City of Alachua. The City Strategic Plan FY 2019 Initiative 1.7 provides for the creation of a business incentive program. Staff has performed research activities and developed draft incentives for consideration by the City Commission.
The presentation will outline the proposed incentives and staff will seek City Commission direction to bring back legislation to effectuate a formal incentive program. |
