SUBJECT:  Microsoft Office 2019 Business Software Licenses

RECOMMENDED ACTION:

1)  Accept the quote from CDW-G for the purchase of 200 software licenses  under GSA (General Services Administration) Federal Acquisition Service Contract Number # 47QTCA18D004K.

2)  Authorize the City Manager to issue a Purchase Order to CDW-G for the purchase of 200 MicroSoft Office 2019 Business Software Licenses in the amount of $56,742.00.

Summary

The City of Alachua Finance and Administrative Services Department is planning to provide conformity among all City computers by purchasing/installing two-hundred (200) Microsoft Office 2019 Business Software Licenses.

The software licenses are being purchased under the Competitively Bid CDW-G GSA (General Services Administration) Federal Acquisition Service Contract Number # 47QTCA18D004K which is current through December 21, 2022.

Individually, a license for each computer is $283.71.  Collectively, the total purchase for 200 licenses is $56,742,00.  Pursuant to the Purchasing and Sales Policy and Regulations Manual purchases above $50,000.00 must be approved by the City Commission.
