Summary
The CRA has contracted with two billboard companies: Outfront Media and Clear Channel. The City currently has a total of four billboards under contract. In the southbound direction there is one billboard located north of the I-10 and I-75 junction, approximately 30 minutes prior to Alachua (not lighted). A second billboard is located directly on the Alachua exit (lighted). In the northbound direction are two billboards located across from one another approximately 3-5 minutes prior to the Alachua exit (one lighted and one unlighted). The CRA is working with both companies to develop a well-rounded ad campaign with a goal to highlight downtown options for shopping and dining. Several iterations have passed back and forth between the holidays from Thanksgiving to the New Year. Now that the holidays have passed we should see a final product soon. | | |
